If you’ve never written a book, I can coach you on how to get started.

Copy editing

I provide both line editing for English errors. Normally, I highlight your grammar, word choice, and punctuation weaknesses so you can learn as you go. But if you wish, I can correct them myself in your manuscript.

Content (developmental) editing

I am an expert at helping you strengthen any weaknesses in your storytelling skills so your manuscript has a better chance of being published.

Affordable analysis of your whole book

I can provide an analysis of your whole book (without line by line editing or detailed content editing) and find places where it could be strengthened. Some writers want this in order to determine if their book is strong enough to sell as it is or if they want to revise it.

If you used print-on-demand (POD) or you became your own publisher and your sales have been lower than you want, maybe you need to improve your book so it generates more interest. My whole-book analysis can give you that kind of overview. You can then decide if you want more detailed feedback and a possible rewrite before you publish a second edition.

Cover (query) letter and synopsis

Lost on how to write a cover (query) letter or synopsis? No problem. I can provide feedback on your drafts. Or if you wish, I’ll even write them for you.
